We are currently witnessing the implosion of the embedded Liberal ideology that Obama desperately tried to mask during his campaign. As always happens, the liberal way has now started to come apart at the seams. We knew Obama had exactly ZERO private sector leadership skills or experience. We knew his foreign policy skills were fine-tuned in a madrasa in Indonesia and while travelling as a young “American” in Pakistan (when Americans weren’t allowed to travel in Pakistan). We knew his relationship/bipartisanship skills were honed to a razor sharp perfection in the living room of Bill Ayres and the church of Rev. Wright. And we all know his personal playbook for implementing policy came from the teachings of Saul Alinsky. We knew all that stuff. What we are now seeing are the results when a far left radical group of politicians are put in charge.
Here are the results:
Economy: Stagnant
Budget Deficit: Extreme Increase
National Debt: Out-of-Control
Stimulus: Not very stimulating
Wealth Redistribution: Happening now
Health Care: Ruined
Wall Street: Doing pretty good
Main Street: Not doing very good
Jobs: Getting Worse
Millions of Green Jobs: ??
Interest Rates: On the rise
Gas Prices: Climbing, Climbing, Climbing
Presidential Approval Polls: Sinking, sinking, sinking
Government Transparency: Ha, ha, ha (good one)
Amnesty for Illegals: Coming Soon
Nuclear Iran: Coming Soon
In the real world, most, uh, many…uh, some of us understand that borrowing money from the next generation is a pitiful, weak-kneed solution that only the twisted mind of a politician could dream up. Most Americans view the National Debt as an extreme crisis. Most Americans intuitively know that you can’t spend this kind of money without negatively impacting economic growth. Most Americans know that the “recovery” is a jobless recovery that is mostly manufactured by Team Obama’s news corpses…and that the numbers are continuously and quietly revised downwards after they are triumphantly trumpeted over the nightly news channels.
In the real world, even a politician understands that tax payers with jobs pay more into the treasury than those without jobs. In order to pay for all of his fancy new programs, even a duller-than-usual politician would understand that SOMEONE has to pay for these programs. In a poll that showed 47% of Americans don’t pay any Federal income tax, even a very slow politician can see that at some point, ½ of America is subsidizing the other ½ already…how much more wealth redistribution can there be ?? In the more “FAIR” world of the Left, should 25% pay the way for the other 75% ?? How about the 10% of the richest people pay the whole bill…and 90% of us pay nothing??
In the real world, we need experienced, job-creating business professionals to lead us out of this morass. I’m not talking about a team of “professors of economics” or “economic model theorists”…we have had too much nonsense from Team Obama’s inexperienced group of public sector mushrooms already. We need small, medium, and large business owners to band together to shape REAL CHANGE that would enable them to sell more stuff, so they can hire more workers.
In the real world, business people lead, and government follows. In the real world, the government works for the people…and very few people work for the government. In the real world, the people are the masters and government works “by the people and for the people.” We aren’t slaves governed by our masters in elected office…THEY WORK FOR US. Until that basic relationship is firmly and unequivocally put back into its Constitutional place – and fully understood by both parties – there is no hope for our Republic.
