The headlines:

Bank of America to slash 40,000 jobs. Solyndra closes, dumps thousands of workers. Unemployment rate up AFTER trillions invested in economy. Union Workers take hostages in Washington State. GE Corp ships thousands of jobs to China.

Yea, yea…you already know that the CEO of GE is Obama’s “Jobs Czar”…it would not be funny if it weren’t true.

This one is the best: “After long vacation, Obama offers Jobs Bill.”

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t had a real vacation in 4 or 5 years. I guess I’m just not smart enough to figure out how to get the taxpayers to foot-the-bill. All I would need is a good teleprompter programming team and a running mate that could make a truck tire sound intelligent…and some campaign cash. I wonder what Paris Hilton is doing in 2016 ??

Why not Young/Hilton 2012 you ask? Simple: Michelle Obama may be the only person on the planet who could out-shop and out-vacation Ms. Hilton, so we would lose the support of the travel and hospitality industry, which, thanks to the Obama’s, is one of the few bright spots in the economy. Plus, with all the extra miles being put on Air Force One, I want to wait for a full overhaul and tune-up before I fly AF1 all around the world.

With all the vacationing, golfing, and speechifying, one thing is without question…Obama does not like to work. He hates it. He has no use for it. Work is for rich people. Rich people work in order to make money to hand over to the government. The government exists to fund the Obama’s vacation packages…and also to prop up businesses like Solyndra and Bank of America.

The ONLY verified job Obama has ever had was an ice cream shop…and he had to steal a social security number to get that job. The number Obama has been using belongs to Harrison J. Bounel:

http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot.com/2011/05/plot-thickens-debt-collector-obamas.html

When a person has never really held down a job, never worked like a dog day-in and day-out, and never seen ½ their paycheck swallowed up in taxes, they have no idea how angry those who do become when they see this hard earned money wasted or given to those who do not contribute in exchange for votes. It is painfully obvious that Team Obama – in the words of Mitt Romney – “don’t have a clue how to create jobs.” How could they?

Now, Obama stands on the soapbox telling others to pass more and more of his already proven failed policies. The President has clearly chosen sides…and in doing so, has made himself an enemy to small business owners everywhere. The very people who COULD create jobs under the right set of conditions have simply chosen to wait until January 2013 to begin hiring…if, and only if, the Republicans send a true conservative job creator to Washington. When the President chose to side with the Soros/Unions/Greens/Redistribution wing…and send them trillions of stimulus dollars – he abandoned the half of the country that actually PRODUCES wealth and jobs.

The very most fundamental part of the economic cycle is what Team Obama simply refuses to acknowledge. It goes like this: Profits = Wealth. Wealth = Profits.

The more government skims off the profits, the less wealth there is. The more government skims off the wealth, the less profit there is. When government inserts itself into the business cycle, it reduces the potential for a business to make a profit. The profit a business makes allows it to create expenses. Expenses means the business is spending money…buying goods and paying wages. The more businesses there are paying wages, the more wealth people (consumers) have to purchase goods and services. If the government is consuming the wealth in the form of taxes, the less money consumers have to make purchases.

Taking money from the productive sectors (Small Businesses) and productive members (free market workers) of society, and giving it to the non-productive sectors (Solyndra, Brazillian Oil) and non-productive members (unions, govt., welfare) simply terminates wealth. The greater the degree of termination, the slower the rate of economic recovery…if it recovers at all.

Obama’s ideology is what drives him. Unfortunately, it also drives about half the country. The non-producers DEMAND that the producers hand over more and more and more of the wealth in the name of fairness. Look at Greece and England…the non-producers destroyed their own countries with burning and looting in a hissy fit demanding a larger share of the wealth cycle in which they had no positive input. It happens here in the United States every time a Democrat Legislator offers up a bill…a bill the producers pay for and the non-producers benefit from. For a non-producer, govt. freebies = votes.

When wealth is terminated, jobs are terminated. It is that simple. Taking a dollar and increasing it to two dollars is considered EVIL in Obama’s mind. Taking the dollar from a person who can make it into two dollars, and handing it to a person who terminates the dollar is considered NOBLE in Obama’s mind. At some point, the ability to be noble simply runs dry.

Jimmy Carter must just sit at home in his easy chair and weep to himself that he is finally, at long last, #2.

We all know how the news media create the news stories more often than they actually just report the facts. For example, you might have seen a headline that reads, “Stock Market Sheds Points at an Alarming Rate” when Bush was President, and “Stock Market Still Strong Despite Minor Setback” while Obama is President. The actual headline should have been, “Dow Jones closes 5 points down.” The headlines have become so blatantly biased and obvious that it looks like the Obama Administration is in charge of most of the news outlets, and Obama’s top speech writer is their editor and full-time headline writer.

What is even more glaring is when they simply ignore news stories that they can’t figure out how to spin correctly. This used to be a major problem, but thanks to the Internet, there are thousands of other sources for news. The mainstream media’s bias has become their undoing. I haven’t watched a nightly network news broadcast in over 10 years.

For one, by 5:00pm, I have already seen those news stories 3-4 times on Drudge, or heard it on the radio, or seen it on a cable news outlet. The 5:00 news is already “old news” by 5:00pm. For another, they concentrate on pop culture to such a degree that you can’t tell the difference between an NBC news broadcast, Oprah, or Entertainment Tonight – it all looks and sounds the same to me. If there is anything I care about less than the royal family in England or Lady Googa, it could only be what people wear to the Oscars.

For another, since I have already seen or heard these news stories, I probably know more about the subject than the actual reporter does. I can instantly spot their biases and omissions. These are no longer reporters, they are just washed up models who can read a script written by someone else, albeit barely. I can read a news story 5 times faster on a computer screen, and know 10 times more about the topic in a fraction of the time. I can pick the topics that are of interest to me, and bypass the multitude of stories describing some brainless Hollywood starlet’s latest breakdown.

Back to the topic at hand: Obamacare was sold as the most important thing for America and Americans. If passed, it would fix the economy, provide jobs, balance the budget, pay down the debt, stop global warming etc, etc. It was more important to Obama than anything else, and despite the obvious lack of prioritization, he got it passed.

Who helped him get this POS passed ? Obviously Pelosi and Reid. But also, Big Labor Unions. These unions helped to sell this to their members because the union benefit plans were/are bankrupt, and if the government was going to provide free health care to all, that would alleviate the financial burdens of the unions to pay for long term health care for their membership. In other words, they “passed-the-buck” from themselves to the rest of the non-union population of the country.

The news story the Mainstream News Media won’t touch:

http://www.hhs.gov/ociio/regulations/approved_applications_for_waiver.html

The Obama administration has granted waivers to Obamacare to 222 companies that include around 1.5 million Americans. The system that was the greatest thing for everyone, isn’t so good for some people. Most peculiarly, some of the waivers have been granted to, for example:

Local 17, Local 802, UCFW Local 1262, Local 25 SEIU, Local 455, UFCW Local 227, Local 123, Local 53, Local 1995, Local 371…and a whole bunch more.

THE VERY PEOPLE WHO PUSHED FOR PASSAGE OF OBAMACARE HAVE NOW ASKED TO BE EXEMPTED FROM IT.

Where is the news story behind this? Where are Katie Couric and Brian Williams and Diane Swayer? The government started giving out these waivers in September. How many more companies will follow?

If Obamacare is so good for all of America, why do some Americans deserve a waiver, while other Americans (me, for one) have to pay the higher premiums just passed down as a result of Obamacare? Does anyone know how much that fine is going to be? I am betting it will be less than my current health insurance premiums…

I’ve recently read, watched, and listened to hundreds of analysis’s as to why the Democrat Party imploded on election night. The spinning spinners on the left have attempted to misquote, mis-identify, and misinterpret the results in every way imaginable. My favorite has to be Nancy Pelosi’s upfront, heartfelt admission on National Public radio that, “We didn’t lose because of me.” (Time out…laughing….can’t…breathe…)

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/11/12/pelosi-we-didnt-lose-because-of-me/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+wsj%2Fwashwire%2Ffeed+%28WSJ.com%3A+Washington+Wire%29

Back to reality.

My simple theory, when broken down to its simplest statement, is as follows: Americans do not like their country constantly being labeled as the bad guy.

For all of our collective flaws, we are still (as of this writing) the most generous, fairest, freest, greatest nation on Earth. The problem with the Democratic Party, and their spokesman Obama, is that they constantly belittle, berate, and denigrate the USA. The new Democrats constantly have to defend their patriotism. They constantly make excuses before foreign dictators. They constantly highlight the virtues of Socialist Europe while apologizing abroad. They insist their failed economic policies will simultaneously help the poor and punish the successful. They make us feel like 19th century cavemen for not quickly adopting “green” lifestyles. They insist the 2nd Amendment is only for bitter clingers clinging to God and guns. Mrs. Obama herself admitted that she was not proud of her country.

When you boil all of that down, all I ever hear from the left is how rotten the USA has become, and how their liberal socialist, collectivist policies are the only true salvation. What I hear from the left is that the only way to reduce the debt is to spend more money. What I hear from the left is that giving free health care to all will make it less expensive for all. What I hear from the left is that Europe is the model we should follow, the path we should choose. Above all the other noise, all I can hear is the left saying the USA is inherently evil and unfair, and that the Democrat Party is the only way to absolution.

Whether or not my hearing is impaired is debatable. What is not debatable is that a resounding number of other Americans heard the same thing I was hearing. We are sick and tired of hearing what a rotten country the USA has become. Undoubtedly, there are huge challenges to overcome. But while running to the open arms of Big Nanny and hopping with both feet into the New World Order fun house may sound like a party to Democrats…it sounds like the exact picture of hell to me. I won’t be attending that party. Neither will my Tea Party brothers and sisters.

Right now, the country is still lost deep in the wilderness. The Bush era Republicans took a wrong turn and bought an overpriced, mislabeled map. The Pelosi era Democrats grabbed the map and wrinkled it up. The Obama era Democrats tore up the $30.50 map and bought a $5 Trillion dollar GPS tracking unit, dropped it in the mud, stepped on it, and now mistakenly believe it still functions correctly. Last week, the Boehner era Republicans downloaded some new software into the GPS reader.

Republicans…choose a path.

The Democrats are actually having success in one area: Annoying me beyond belief. Their mindless, robotic, lockstep perpetuation of their talking point regarding tax cuts sounds so utterly ridiculous that I have almost perfected the “Snort-of-Disbelief” whenever I hear it. All I can do is shake my head in frustrated reverence to the public school system that ½ of my countrymen actually subscribe to this myth.

The DNC fax talking point: We can’t afford to give a tax cut to the wealthy, AKA, Bush gave a tax cut that he did not pay for.

Let’s get something straight: A tax cut means government has less money to SPEND. If they know up front that revenue is going to be decreased, the simple answer is to decrease spending accordingly. You can’t “pay” for something with money you never had.

Obviously, government abhors a reduction in spending. The R’s whine about it on camera, but secretly want to spend more and more each year. The D’s at least admit their addiction, and shamelessly ask for more and more money by demonizing anyone who doesn’t want to willfully hand over their checkbook. One party attempts to ease the wrath of their side of the aisle with fancy sloganeering, while the other party attempts to ease the wrath of their side by actually implementing destructive policy. As long as both sides are content with the process of bickering, everyone is happy…as long as no Tea Party develops. (That is entirely another blog).

Put aside the proven, time tested argument made by Kennedy and Reagan that reducing burdensome taxation actually increases economic activity, which then increases total revenue to the government.

Think about it this way: Wilbur makes $35,000.00 per year as a lab technician. Wilbur makes about $ 2,900.00 per month, gross. After all taxes, that leaves around $2,300.00 per month. Wilbur makes a $900.00 a month mortgage payment and a $ 400.00 car payment. After utilities, insurance, and food, this leaves Wilbur with $500.00 of extra cash each month.

Wilbur decides he needs a boat and two snowmobiles. The combined payment is $750.00 per month, leaving Wilbur in a deficit of $250.00 per month. What should Wilbur do?

If Wilbur was a Republican, he would tell everyone that the fact that he is short each month is no big deal, everyone is doing it, and he needs those extra toys so that he remains popular among society.

If Wilbur was a Democrat, he would hire the ACLU to force his employer to pay him more each month, so he could continue to make his monthly payments. Then, he would also purchase a Home Theater and a Time Share in Maui, and send the monthly bill directly to his employer to “pay-or-else.” If the employer resisted, Wilbur would go on Oprah and say how unfairly the employer has been treating him, and that the only way he can continue to live his miserable life is to have the “stress-reducing” toys he purchased.

If Wilbur was an honest, hard working regular guy – perhaps a Tea Party member – he would never have purchased those extra items, realizing that he simply could not afford them. He would work very hard at his job, so that his employer would find his services invaluable, and be happy to pay him more each month. Then, and only then, would Wilbur purchase these additional items.

The Federal Government must have 1,000’s of accountants keeping track of revenue and expenses. If you have reduced revenue, you reduce spending. The government has a checkbook, too, that must be balanced. Spending too much money, and then blaming lack of revenue for the deficit can only happen within the Liberal mind. Walking into Best Buy with $500.00 and purchasing a $1,500.00 big screen is not everyone else’s fault because you didn’t have $1,500.00. Society and taxpayers don’t owe you the extra thousand dollars.

The government doesn’t get to take in a trillion dollars in revenue, spend 3 trillion, and then blame the “super rich” for not making up the difference. “We spent 3 trillion, and those greedy rich people won’t pay for our ridiculous spending obsession.” That argument is flawed, backwards and forwards.

When is the last time you went out to eat, and your wealthy uncle’s best friend’s father-in-law was paying the bill? Did you order Lobster Bisque, Beef Wellington, Caviar, and five shots of 25-year old single malt Scotch…or did you show some respect and order a moderately priced item? It is just too (insert swear word of your choice) easy to spend other people’s money – especially if you are a Politician.

The mindset in Washington that we have “x” amount of dollars, but we want to spend “xxx” must be eliminated. It is time that Washington DC implements a non-alterable Balanced Budget Amendment. Idaho has one. Washington needs one. It is also time to toss-out any politician who speaks with forked tongue about spending.

Try this: Go down to your locally owned bank and tell them you need a loan with a monthly payment that is in excess of your monthly income. Unless you can convince them that Barney Frank is guaranteeing the note, you will be promptly denied. This is the difference between a private business and the federal government. The locally owned private bank can see the danger of loaning money to those who cannot repay the debt. The federal government has no such inclination.

Gerald walked into a Health and Nutrition Store. He wandered up and down the aisles for a few minutes, perusing the selection of tablets and sprays, lotions and potions. Since it was Friday, Gerald had just cashed his paycheck for the week, and had budgeted around $50.00 to spend at the health store. Gerald had recently begun to feel some joint pain in his thumbs, and wondered if some Glucosamine might provide some relief.

Soon, Gerald was approached by a very nice looking, well-dressed, well-spoken sales associate who asked if he could be of assistance. Gerald was instantly smitten with the sales associate’s ability to speak clearly and answer his questions with knowledgeable, helpful answers. The salesperson recommended a 1500mg tablet of Glucosamine that includes 1500mg of Methylsulfonylmethane. Gerald, like most of us, had no idea what MSM is or what it would do for him, but he respected the sincere words of the sales associate, and didn’t want to appear uneducated or disagreeable, so he placed the bottle into his basket.

The associate asked Gerald if he had any trouble sleeping, and soon Gerald added a package of Melatonin and some L-Tryptophan to his basket. The sales agent next noticed Gerald’s thinning hair, and commented that some Bearberry and Muira Puama might help thicken it up. The conversation next turned to acid reflux, and Gerald was soon thereafter cramming papaya enzymes into his basket. Minerals, herbs, calcium, organics, detoxification, diet pills, energy enhancers, proteins…Gerald had it all.

Pretty soon, Gerald’s basket was filling up with every supplement in the store. The salesperson had smelled the weakness and lack of self-control permeating off of Gerald, took advantage to the fullest. “Hey, Gerald, the National Academy of Fleabags has studied the effects of acai berries on your digestive tract, and you would be crazy not to use 1,000mg’s per day.” Followed by, “Gerald, you don’t want to risk a heart attack by not taking emblica myrobalan twice per day” and “Wow, Gerald, don’t you know how many experts say you are taking a serious risk by not undergoing 3-4 caffeinated high colonics each week.”

Somewhere in the middle of “foot fungus” and “nasal sprays”, Gerald had upsized to a full shopping cart, which was now overflowing with all the expert recommended items needed to keep him from immediately expiring. The sales clerk totaled the items at the checkout counter and said, “That will be one thousand three hundred and thirty six dollars.” (Remember, Gerald only walked into the store with fifty bucks). Gerald stammered and meekly asked, “I don’t have that much money…how do you expect me to pay for all of this?” The clerk asked, “Well, how much money do you make each year?” Gerald responded, “Not enough.” The clerk told Gerald, “No problem…take all of this stuff home. I will send the bill to your Grandkids.”

Gerald ran to his Prius, threw the items into the trunk, and sped away, chuckling to himself that he was only 23 years old, a Political Sciences major, and didn’t really like girls that much.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100531/hl_nm/us_health_3

What an incredibly interesting story. Canada – Team Obama’s model of virtuosity and efficiency – has realized that “Free” Health Care is very expensive. In fact, it is so expensive, they are now “taking tough measures to curb healthcare costs…” What is the word I am looking for? I have been using it over and over and over since Team Obama proposed it…wait for it…wait….RATIONING.

Canada has finally decided that enough is enough – they are simply unable to provide what every Canadian ‘deserves’. Derek Burleton, senior economist at Toronto-Dominion Bank, states in the article, “At some stage we’re going to hit a breaking point.” What he means is exactly what I have been saying – Free is very expensive. The healthcare portion of the Canadian Federal Budget is at around 40% now, and is expected to be 70% in 10 years. There is no way they can sustain that kind of a blowout to their budgets.

What are they proposing for solutions? Ha ha ha ha ha (stop me…can’t…stop…laughing….). They are proposing radical solutions. Crazy talk. They are madmen…

Seriously. They are proposing CUTBACKS (rationing), CURTAILING ALLOCATIONS (rationing), MEANS-TESTING (rationing), EVIDENCE-BASED MODELS (rationing), and SCALING-BACK DRUG COVERAGE (rationing).

They are also proposing a reduction in payments to drug companies, paying doctors LESS, and believe it or not, asking Canadians to Co-Pay at the time of service….ooohhhhh, the humanity.

All of the warnings that those of us against OBAMAcare have been sounding are coming true in Canada. Their system is too expensive, takes too much from their Federal Budget, causes rationing and lower quality of services, and punches their suppliers and doctors right in the nose.

Team Obama has been INSISTING for months and months that nationalizing our healthcare system is a necessity if we are to ever balance our Federal Budget. Canada has been “perfecting” their system for 25 years…and they can’t afford it. How about the U.K., Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal…would any of you Obamabots care to have a look at their Federal Budgets?? If this free system already takes up 40-70% of Canada’s Federal Budget – and the United States is running a 1.5 TRILLION budget defecit…how in the *#$* can adding an additional 40-70% BALANCE our BUDGET?? Only in the mind of a Liberal can adding + adding + adding + adding = reduction.

But, strangely enough, the article tries to leave the impression that Canadians love their Nationalized Healthcare – that it is part of their National Identity – and that they won’t tolerate much change. Newsflash Canada – your gravy train is on a collision course with reality. The rationers are gonna come a rationing.

But here is some good news: If you need a new knee or some cataract surgery or a quadruple by-pass, the United States is still open for business. Come on down and take advantage of short wait times, talented surgeons, top-notch facilities, the latest procedures and equipment, and the newest scientific advancements….but hurry…time is running out. We can only make this offer for a short time. The new management hopes to change things down here…

The above article consists of three pages of items that need to be dissected a bit further than the author(s) had the time, space, or likely the inclination for. I will attempt to fill in the rest of the information that was not included…

Let us begin with the title: “Democrats seek greater control over health insurance rates. Legislation would allow federal regulators to step in to stop premium increases when state agencies fall short.”

The argument has been made in recent months that Democrats are simply trying to “fix” the health care system. Judging by this title, Democrats want to “control” private insurance rates. (For those who aren’t paying attention – that is the very definition of Socialism). How effective has the government ever been in controlling the costs of anything? Gasoline? House prices? Education? Shall I go on? Why are Democrats so afraid of the Free Market? Why must they attempt to CONTROL everything? The ONLY OUTCOME of the government meddling in health care can be to drive prices upward.

How about the second sentence? “…when state agencies fall short” sounds an awful lot like the Federal Government usurping power from the states. Why would we allow federal regulators to take control of another function from the state government? Democrats seem to be afraid of State’s Rights on this issue, and a number of other issues….I have always wondered why?

“Congressional Democrats have begun pushing legislation giving government regulators greater authority to block big increases in health insurance premiums, kicking off what is expected to be a years-long process of revising and expanding their major healthcare overhaul.”

Just the sound of “giving government regulators greater authority” is enough to turn my stomach. What would be the goal of limiting the revenue of a private business? The only goal imaginable is to eventually drive that private business out of business. Why would Democrats want to drive health insurance companies out of business? Yea…you guessed the answer…so they can offer the competitor’s product as a monopoly. In this case, the only competitor would be Big Nanny’s Health Company funded by her Uncle Sam.

Why do you suppose the language “years-long process” was inserted? Wow…you guessed it, again! This gives the Democrats cover when the system implodes…they will always (for infinity) be able to claim that their plan is “fluid” – a work in progress – and may take hundreds of years to perfect. In the mean time, you just deal with the crappy product – because Democrats are in charge…they care the most…and they are fixing it !! These types of subliminal carrots are strategically placed throughout the news media to help Team Obama sell their message to the masses. If you tell a lie over and over, eventually it becomes the truth.

“Republican lawmakers and insurance industry leaders say the push for more regulation will not address rising medical costs, which many experts say are helping drive up premiums.”

Let’s break this down into some simple math. You sell widgets for $10 each. You buy each widget from a manufacturer for $8 each. You make $2 per widget profit. In that $2 profit, your fixed expenses are $1.75. You get to keep, and live on, .25 cents.

What happens when the wholesaler tells you widgets now cost $9 each? If you sell them for $10, you only make $1 in profit…but since your fixed expenses are $1.75…you are now losing money. Your only choices are to find another supplier to sell to you at $8 each, or raise your retail price to $11.00.

What if ALL the suppliers now charge $9 per widget, and Uncle Sam tells you can only retail your widget for $10 in order to be “fair” to your customers? Yep…you are officially out of business. The same thing happens to the “evil” insurance companies. (Yes, some are evil, and the free market would drive them out of business faster than Big Nanny…if she would allow some competition amongst the states.) The hospitals keep driving up costs (and they have their reasons). The hospital is the “supplier” in the above example. The “retailer” is the insurance company.

One of the main reasons the supplier (hospital) keeps raising rates is that as Americans, we are so unhealthy. If we would reduce demand, prices would go down. Stop going to the hospital for a case of sniffles. Stop taking drugs. Stop drinking and driving. Stop having unprotected sex and cranking out 8-10 kids. Stop drinking a 12-pack of high fructose corn syrup and eating 3 bags of cookies and 4 bags of potato chips every day. Stop smoking. Stop weighing 450 lbs. I hate to be rude (insensitive), but we are causing most of this problem because of our poor individual habits and choices. What is most annoying is that the people making the poor lifestyle choices are most often the people least likely to pay for services rendered. In essence, those who choose to be healthy must now pick up the tab for those who do not. In a world consumed by “fairness” can someone please tell me how it is fair that I must pay extra so another can pay less.

My liberal friends would argue that to a large degree, the healthy are already supplementing the health care costs for the unhealthy via the constant increases in the price of health care – someone, eventually, has to pay the bills. Good drivers must pay more in insurance premiums due to the bad drivers. Good people must pay to incarcerate bad people. Good students lose instruction time to unruly students. Those who push “tolerance” and “fairness” upon the rest of us often do a disservice to the majority of those they pretend to help. I grow weary of the tax-fattened parasites who live to suck the blood from society, at little or no expense to themselves. I grow wearier of the political class who enable them.

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2010/04/state-reps-want-to-fight-violence-with-national-guards-help.html

In the above referenced article, I found a couple of interesting (insert fancy word for “when stuff doesn’t make sense). The article is about a couple of state representatives in Illinois who are pleading with the Governor of Illinois, The Mayor of Chicago, and the Chicago Superintendant of Police to bring in the National Guard to patrol the streets of Chicago. It seems crime is so out of control in that city, the police are not even remotely effective in combating or reducing crime.

This statement particularly caught my eye: “So far this year, 113 people have been killed across Chicago, the same number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined in the same period.”

I have to ask, if we stick National Guard troops into a major American city…what could possibly be the outcome? Are the gang members and drug lords and crime bosses going to behave like Al Qaeda and the Taliban? Are these criminals going to behave like terrorists? Do our military personnel have to wait to be shot at before returning fire with high powered rifles in city streets? Would this be the beginning of “Martial Law”…is this when the United States Military is finally used against its own citizenry?

How do these questions apply to the same calls to put National Guard members along our southern border with Mexico? In the middle of the desert, the likelihood of stray bullets killing kids sleeping in their bedrooms decreases exponentially, as well as the fact that no innocent civilians are walking down their neighborhood street. In the middle of the desert, it is much easier to separate those who are supposed to be there from those who are not. The military, in this example, is NOT used against American citizens.

What I find most interesting is that this city is, has, and always will be run by the Democrat machine. This is Obama’s city. This is the place he learned politicking. This is where he learned from Rev. Wright and Bill Ayres and the rest of the “community” of organizers. This is the city to which the Olympic Committee said, “Uh, no thanks.” This is the model city to which Democrats aspire: Big Unions, broken budgets, corrupt politicians galore, staggering crime, out-of-control debt (the school system by itself in the city of Chicago has a deficit of $475 million), Blagojevich, and a central control system where the Mayor has more power than any single human should have.

“No help is too much help” (Representative) Ford said. “This is not just about the murders. It’s about the crime. It’s about people being stabbed, robbed and in the hospital on life support.”

“Is this a drastic call to action? Of course it is,” (Representative) Fritchey said. “Is it warranted when we are losing residents to gun violence at such an alarming rate”?

On a final note: Illinois and Chicago have the most strict gun control policies in the United States.

Have you ever seen the movie, “Braveheart” starring Mel Gibson as a Scottish commoner – William Wallace – who becomes disenfranchised (to say the least) with the English occupation of his country? The movie includes a ruthless king and a bunch of weasely Noblemen who take bribes in order to maintain their positions of power…they favored their perceived security over their actual liberty. In reality, the Noblemen’s security was actually in question, as it may have been their head on a stick – literally – were they to disobey the King. In the end, the Wallace character exacts revenge on the Noblemen, is betrayed by another Nobleman with political ambitions, and is eventually disemboweled in public – but he does manage to free his country.

The following quote I have seen before, and there may be some doubt as to its origins, which I don’t really care to debate…the quote itself is sound:

Alexander Fraser Tyler, Cycle Of Democracy (1770)

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over lousy fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average of the world’s great civilizations before they decline has been 200 years. These nations have progressed in this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependency; from dependency back again to bondage.”

In America, we currently have a dangerous combination of the weasley Nobleman and the apathetic public. The “historic” vote by Nobleperson Pelosi, at the direction of King Obama, and with 215 other of the weaseliest, whiniest, spine-free Nobles in the world, just pushed with a mighty heave-ho the country from apathy to dependency. Whether you like it, or whether you even realize it, you have just become DEPENDENT on the Noblemen for your health. (Side note – the Noblemen are exempt from their plan….they will receive excellent health care for the rest of their lives at YOUR expense.)

Those of us who did not want to be dependent on Big Nanny…guess what? Not only are your health care costs and premiums going to increase, you are also going to be paying the costs for an additional 30 Million more dependents. This is going to get UGLY…very ugly. Because I make a daily choice to exercise, watch my diet, avoid smoking, and maintain a healthy lifestyle…now, as an American, I get to pay into a system in which those who purposefully choose to ruin their health can do so at my expense. What a great system…thanks Noblemen. The Noblemen on one side will be in charge of health and medicine…and Nobleman McCain (supposedly on the other side, but not really) will be in charge of supplements and protein powder. Either way, THEY will determine your path. Freedom and Liberty are not just words; they actually mean something. From now on, anytime my doctor refuses to give me liposuction, rhinoplasty, or a gluteal implant, Senators and Congressmen – you will be getting a phone call complaining about the lack of medical professionalism showed to me; you have all become full-time mediators between patient and doctor.

Finally, while I am on the subject of English Noblemen, what in the heck is going on in the entertainment industry? Why do weasely Englishmen dominate certain programs in which they judge Americans? Examples include, most famously, Simon on the karaoke show, Piers on the talent show, Len on the dancing show…and even the Super Nanny. There was even another English guy on last night telling the lunch ladies in a West Virginia city to stop feeding the chubby kids pizza for breakfast. Since when did England regain moral superiority over America…do we really need their help…do we really care what they think, or care how it is done in the U.K. ?? (More on that subject in an upcoming blog).

Apparently, 216 American Noblemen want desperately to follow the English lead when it comes to Nationalized Healthcare. I will wager that the pee-ons and subjects in their home districts are about to apply justice to their local Noblemen with tiny little plastic hole-pokers, rather than large steel hole pokers (except in Florida, where punching holes in paper still seems too difficult a task to muster). I suppose the small plastic pokers make less of a mess, but a part of me wonders if the William Wallace-style of retribution would create a deeper level of commitment to the pursuit of right and wrong by said weasels.

I also have to wonder if Nancy Pelosi bombarded the Noblemen’s e-mail in-boxes with video after video of Simon Cowell and Super Nanny dishing out – with thick Birmingham brogues – stern rebukes and veiled threats of what might happen if they didn’t vote against the wishes of their tea-bagging constituents. I wonder if Mrs. Pelosi will be surprised when even her radical supporters start filling large, heavy bags of Earl Grey. I also hope she will be lenient when it comes to rationing out dental care…I wouldn’t want her professionally polished and whitened smile to be routinely compared in the news media to that of legendary Englishman, Austin Powers.

Now that politicians and Noblemen are in charge of health care, it is time to bring in Darth Vader (or Dick Cheney) to be the Rationer-in-Chief. Remember, once the government has control of your health care, they will also be able to CONTROL your health care. When some evil, right wing, baby-haters are elected, they will be able to make deep, serious, dangerous, child-starving, draconian, old-people-have-to-eat-dog-food type decisions…and when real, live adults are finally elected to office, and realize they have a 14 TRILLION dollar debt to clean up, and serious, tough decisions have to be made, gone will be the days of laying on your sofa, guzzling high fructose corn syrup, cramming hydrogenated trans-fat glucose into your face. You, Citizen, will comply with the diet, exercise, and supplement procedure Big Nanny has designed, or you will be jailed (where the government will force you to lay around, drink soda, and eat junk).

We, as Americans, have spent millions of lives and dollars to throw off the tyranny of all-powerful government, centralized control and command, Big Nanny, and outrageous taxation; these brave acts are what our country was founded upon. I mistakenly have thought all along that America won the Revolutionary War. Now, 234 years later, the best our politicians can do for us is stand up and proudly sing (under the watchful eye of Simon, Len, and Piers, or course) “God Save the Queen.”

The Obamacare health insurance mandate reminds me of a bunch of Chicago gangsters selling protection. I can just envision Obama (Al Capone), Rahm (Frank Nitti), Pelosi (Teets Battaglia), and Reid (Jack Zuta) sitting around a smoke-filled speakeasy planning to provide “protection” to the neighborhood merchants.

“We’re gonna provide you protection, see…and you are gonna take it, see…or else, see.”

Only in this case, the neighborhood merchants happen to be every citizen in the United States. While they force you to purchase insurance, at the same time, they are forcing their competitors out of business. There is plenty of bribery, arm-twisting, naked shower finger-pointing, and rampant strong-arming that make Al Capone’s exploits look like an episode of the Brady Bunch. Just today, Dick Durbin (Big Jim Colosimo) admitted on the floor of the Senate that premiums under Obamacare are likely to INCREASE versus the average cost of private insurance…what a fabulous time for the racketeering of health care.

Poll after poll after poll shows that Americans are strongly opposed to a government acquisition of the United States health care system. But Al “Obama” Capone and his henchmen are going to use every dirty, underhanded method perfected in the mean streets of Chicago to accomplish their mission.

Where, oh where, is Elliot Ness ??
